Miss Sonia is the epitome of what a Girl Scout is and she lived by the Girl Scout Law for her entire life.

Oakville Girl Scouts would like to honor her each year by offering a $500 scholarship in her name. 

 

The Sonia Foderaro Scholarship

This $500 scholarship will go to a trifecta Girl Scout who is enrolled in an educational institution and exemplifies many or all of the qualities of Sonia.

Since Sonia was on the Gold Award and Silver Award committees, as well as a teacher, we think an educational scholarship to someone who shares her values and dedication to Girl Scouts is an appropriate tribute.

You may nominate someone you know or yourself.

 

All nominations are due by January 30th, and will be awarded at the annual Oakville Bridging Ceremony.
