Oakville Service Unit Fall Investiture and Rededication
Fall 2011
Oakville Service Unit had our Investiture and Rededication on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Snipes Farm in Morrisville. Over 200 Girl Scouts attended. The girls packed over 200 bag lunches for a food pantry in Trenton; they helped prepare garlic bulbs for planting by the farmers next week; they ate pizza and toasted marshmallows for s'mores. We ended everything with a flag ceremony, group investiture and rededication. The girls exited by sprinking some magic "Girl Scout dust" on the campfire as they went home! It was a good day to be a Girl Scout!
